Razorlight bassist Carl Delamo says the band are ready to start work on their third album.
The UK rockers, whose hits include 'Up All Night' & 'America', played their only UK festival date at Fatboy Slims Rockness on the banks of Loch Ness last Sunday.
Says Carl, "This is our only UK festival and its come early.
"Its a bit weird, like a false start. It's not really going to happen for us for the rest of the festival season.
"We've got a couple of gigs in Germany, and then the Nelson Mandela birthday show, but after that we start recording the new album at the end of this month.
"We've got 12 songs that we could easily lay down now.
"Two or three months ago we didn't really have any of the songs written properly, nor had we played the ideas together.
"Now its coming together really well."
Razorlight unveiled new track Frequency at Rockness. It was different to the version of the song that the group performed in London a few weeks ago.
Carl, 27, added, "Im not sure what that one is finally going to be called yet."
